First Time in Rome — or Returning? Our tours work either way

Our small-group tours are about seeing more, better.

Many visitors see landmarks as isolated stops and get stuck in tourist clusters, which limits discovery. Instead, we connect multiple places through Rome’s iconic neighborhoods — weaving together famous sights and unexpected wonders. You explore Trastevere, stepping into its underground crypt. At the Trevi Fountain you discover the ancient aqueduct still flowing beneath your feet. In Piazza Navona an ancient Roman stadium comes to life beneath the square.

Our routes are designed so the walk keeps moving and surprising you along the way. And because the group is small and intimate — never more than 12 people — you feel at ease every step, with time to ask questions and take it all in. That means you leave Rome feeling richer, whether it’s your first trip to Rome or your fifth.

What nitty gritty details are still holding you back?!

Who are we?

To our guests, we’re local friends in Rome. We take you in small groups of no more than 12 people through Rome’s iconic neighborhoods, discovering famous sights and the hidden gems that surround them. Our tours are not packed, not rushed and not stuck in tourist spots. This is how we’d show Rome to a close friend.

I think tours are boring, why these shouldn't be?

We understand why you say this, we’ve all seen these big groups passively following a flag. We completely rethought the way an experience is run. We focus a lot on the stories because that’s what moves you and what you’ll remember after your trip (let’s face it, nobody remembers all the names and dates!). We share fun anecdotes and local curiosities without dwelling on academic frills. Also, we strive for interacting with you during the experience as much as you want. We want you to feel as if you were walking around Rome next to a friend!

You can see our approach first hand from the content we share everyday with our community

What are we going to do - just walking around?

We’ll walk through thought-out itineraries and share with you the exciting stories and details you wouldn’t discover on your own. We like to give our personal touch and experience and so we’ll also share aspects of the daily life and customs in Rome that you don’t find in the guidebooks.

Is it a small group?

We exclusively go in groups of no more than 12 people. That’s important for us because we want you to feel free to interact with us as much as you want. In a small group that feels less intimidating and it’s much more fun. As we said, we don’t like flags to follow 😉

What if I just read a travel book or listen to an audio guide?

Sure you could read or listen to different guides about Rome, but it’s like practicing fitness with books or podcasts versus a personal trainer 😜

Unfortunately I can't come to Rome anymore, how can I cancel my booking?

You can cancel your semi-private tour up to 24 hours before the start time of the experience (free of charge, with a full refund). In case of a private tour, you can cancel up to 7 days before its start time (free of charge, with a full refund).
