WHAT WE’LL DO

• We’ll walk together in the evening through the little alleys of the center of Rome, until we get in front of a special church

• Everything looks ordinary at first sight, but if you pay close attention you’ll start noticing the details: the skulls, the hourglass with wings.. What is that??
• And what happens if we knock on the closed doors of this church? At first nothing, but then we start hearing the sound of the bolt lock. The door opens and we see who’s inside.. A nun! She says the church is closed, but she can take us downstairs to visit a hidden Rome’s underground crypt, if we want. “Don’t be scared when you see the crypt”, she says
• We follow her down the stairs and we discover one of the most incredible jobs a confraternity had to deal with, centuries ago.. Collecting the dead bodies found in the streets of Rome and giving them an honorable burial

• We’ll discover that death was actually a way to celebrate life. And that is why some of the human bones here were used to make chandeliers..
• But this is not all. We’ll then continue walking through the narrow streets of the center of Rome, where you’ll hear the most incredible ghost stories. But this won’t be just fantasy ghost stories, but also real people that actually existed and their history!

• Have you ever heard of what happened to the innkeeper that talked too much? Or to the girl with the most beautiful hands in Rome? And what about Donna Olimpia – the lady Pope?
• We’ll learn all their stories, while we’ll also walk though the very places where the capital executions took place in Rome through the centuries
• Ghosts and skeletons can be scary.. If you don’t know them! But after you’ll get to meet them during this experience, you’ll be able to confidently walk the streets of Rome without fear!
